What part will you play? 
In this role, you are challenged to apply analytical skills to drive Month End Closing and Productivity Reporting. You will be a core and valued member of a diverse team focused on advising management of the financial impact of strategic decisions.  Successful candidates will: 
  • Demonstrate a strong motivation to take ownership of key governance processes associated with month-end closing and controlling support for SFS Cross Services.  
  • Analyze closing result with a critical mindset to ensure the Month End result delivered is reliable for Management consumption 
  • Enhance the quality of management decision making by controlling productivity measures and transparently reporting on their performance.     
  • Closely collaborate with IT personnel in the SFS IT Portugal Tech Hub to continuously analyze and report on their contribution to strategic IT projects.   
  • Continuously improve controlling tasks with the aim of shifting our effort from manual transactional tasks to informative analytical tasks. 
  • Enjoy collaborating with team members (virtually and in-person) to both further their development and the development of the team. 
What you need to make real what matters. 
  • The foundation of your success is a 3 years experience with Financial Controlling and closing tasks
  • You have already gained experience with SAP ERP systems (S/4 Hana is an advantage)
  • Business fluent English to complete your profile  
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Skilled in Excel skills and open to other analytical tool
