This is your role:
Experienced IT Infrastructure Security Expert with skills to manage Siemens Global IT DC Services, migrations, optimization, and improvements.
This role comprise the management of global Service Architecture activities, interaction with other IT projects regarding this topic, and fully accountable for the results as part of Service Families IaaS and PaaS.
Daily activities with a virtual team spread worldwide and the need to travel.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Act as Service Manager & Architect for the Cybersecurity Services and work closely with the central IT, business IT units to integrate the specific requirements into the corporate context.
  • Ensure communication with needed stakeholders and team members.
  • Design and implement a suitable strategy according to the CYS-department demand process. Identify and evaluate options for improving the service. This process is driven by technical, economic, and business aspects.
  • Ensuring a detailed knowledge of specific Security topics areas and acting as  point of contact for the Data Center Value Center and other departments.
  • Scout trends and apply innovations.
  • Execute and/or organize relevant tests in the customer IT service ordering portal.
  • Technical support for Service Management within the framework of Major Incidents.
  • Coordinate delivery, integration, and interoperability across multiple IT services and suppliers.
  • Security SPOC for:
    • team and server owners;
    • DDOS/RIPE project implementation;
    • PAM4GSA;
    • Exception Handling.
  • Server Maintenance Window follow-up.
  • EOS & EOL resolution together with Cybersec department.
  • Monitoring of Security Patching performance and planning.
  • Review and Report on applicable defined SLAs and KPIs, and take appropriate actions to improve the service.

  • Push Providers to achieve patching compliance.
  • Create/improve Providers compliance reports.
  • Analyze and provide monthly security related reports.
  • Follow-up on major incidents when requested.
  • Verify and approve Supplier communication to server owners.
  • Collaborate with Service Providers to improve overall security of Datacenter services.
  • Represents the global Siemens Data Center team on Security related topics and innovation projects.
  • Helps to define, update or review contractual Service Level Agreements with technology and service providers.

  • Clear understanding of Information Technology.
  • Deep knowledge and interest in IT security.
  • Consider dependencies to other global and regional projects.
  • Supports the Service Owner and other stakeholder regarding tasks and approvals according needs of the project.
  • Analyze the business requirements and processes to support the design and development of infrastructure services.
  • Prepare and contribute to architectural quality reviews.
  • Continuously share best practices and approaches across teams.
  • Communication with Service Owners and other stakeholders (progress, issues, blockers, enablers).
  • Cooperate with other IT teams to ensure interoperability and availability to ensure no losses to business functions or processing through non-availability or poor performance. Support business initiatives.
  • Develop and positively influence key, strategic position stakeholders across locations and functions.
  • Identifies and tracks issues identified in cooperation with other project work streams.
  • Prioritizing location planning, control the process and provide support, as necessary. 
  • Timely provision of Status Reports, Rollout Plan, etc.
  • Report status to management stakeholders on a regular, agreed upon, basis.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Implement the service as in cooperation with the Service Owner.
  • Implement the needed ITIL processes e.g.  
  • Escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or experience considered to be relevant for the role.
  • At least 4 to 5 years of proven working experience as a Project Manager/ Service Architect/ Service Manager in the information technology sector, focus on IT Security.
  • Some years of experience in infrastructure services & environment. Main focus on SAP related services (SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, ERP, CRM, BW).
  • Experience in working with global virtual teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer management skills with advanced problem solving skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Written and spoken English is a must, knowledge of additional languages, like German, is a plus.
  • ITIL/ PMP / Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Certificates in related fields are considered as a plus.
