The Siemens Mobility Customer Service business seeks to hire a curious problem solver to be part of a dynamic multi-functional team who will work across Engineering, Project Management, and Strategic Procurement to bring creative part solutions to our customer base.

Position Overview:

Drives deep investigation to determine potential secondary source solutions. Work includes:

Deconstruction of finished systems, Part investigation, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) investigation such as reviewing import documentation and internet investigations, and identifying and onboarding manufacturing solution providers, including reverse engineering solution partners.

Reporting to the Head of our Siemens Mobility Customer Service Strategic Procurement Price & Automation Team, this entry-level position plays a crucial role in meeting the needs of our growing business here at Siemens Mobility Customer Service.

To thrive in this role, you have:
  • 4-year Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, BSME
  • A love of investigation & to get to the bottom of things
  • Self-Starter, Self-Motivated, Driven
  • Analytical skills
  • Microsoft Suite computer skills, with exceptional skills in excel & working with large data sets.
  • Verbal and communication skills. Ability to work across various teams and functions.
  • 10% travel or less required
