Medium Voltage Project Engineer

Job Description

For our SI Division in Gebze we are looking for a Medium Voltage (MV) Secondary Project Engineer! This role will be responsible for providing cost effective engineering solutions to fulfill contractual requirements of running order, improving and performing maintain the software and tools in full compliance with the SI EA process!

What part will you play?  Lead and coordinate secondary engineering design projects (preparation of control and protection circuits, logic diagrams, simple short circuit calculations, AC/DC load calculations, preparation of material lists, Function charts (PLC Logic) of the protection relays) based on contractual scope of supply and functionality,

Prepare secondary engineering documentation for factory use in the manufacture and assembly of MV switchgears,

Prepare detailed documentation to facilitate procurement of equipment and components for factory,

Prepare "As built" primary and secondary engineering documentation for customer based on the date received from the QA/QC test bay and/or site,

Support Quality: Implement the procedures & methods as listed in the "Quality Handbook". If required initiate / support either amendments or new procedures to achieve better quality in product as well as in processes.

What you need to make real what matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,

Very good command of English, and in addition preferably German,

Knowledge of Air Insulated Switchgears products & technologies utilized,

Knowledge of protection and control logics,

Knowledge of software tools such as Electrical Engineering CAD software, Auto CAD, ELCAD, Engineering Base, E-Plan

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field,

Experience in engineering of power distribution products (LV and/or MV) including protection, metering, control and annunciation,

Analytical mind with strong planning and self learning skills, team work oriented.
