Currently enrolled at a local university as an undergraduate student
Minimum 3.0 GPA

Marketing Intern - Simcenter Solutions

As an intern in the Simcenter Solutions Marketing - Mechanical team, you will be active in B2B marketing of simulation software used by engineers to develop new products in the auto, aero, electronics and other industries. While you don’t need to have an engineering background for this role, you must be comfortable with interpreting technical content to extract the key customer benefits that can help generate excitement in our audience for Simcenter mechanical simulation software.

Potential projects would include:

Website optimization to ensure engineers are finding our content as solutions to their internet queries.
Content creation (videos and blogs) that help support the Simcenter message
Social media promotion and engagement

Candidate Requirements:

Studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Journalism
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) methods and analytics
Knowledgeable in multiple social media platforms (LinkedIn is primary)
Blogging experience
Web site design and video experience a plus
Customer-first mindset
Dedicated to continuous improvement and learning new skills
Able to balance multiple tasks at one given time
Remarkable and proactive time management skills
Interest in the software industry/engineering- the product line being supported is highly technical
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
