Software Development Intern -Calibre Multi-Patterning
We are seeking a motivated Software Development Intern for Siemens Digital Industries Software. Our portfolio enables customers to build a comprehensive digital twin, which blurs the boundaries between virtual and physical, hardware and software, as well as design and manufacturing worlds.

This position is for Calibre Design Solutions under Siemens EDA (formerly known as Mentor Graphics) the leading provider of electronic design automation software that allows customers to develop most cost-effective electronics systems, components, and products. The Calibre Design Solutions delivers the most accurate, most trusted, and best-performing IC sign-off verification and DFM optimization in the EDA industry.

Come and gain practical hands-on experience with high quality EDA products while setting yourself up with knowledge for a potential full-time role after graduation. You will gain the ability to work within a fast paced, startup environment in a large company. This internship can be a stepping-stone into software development. Research and Development is integral and core part of any high-quality professional software product. This position is in industry leading Calibre Multi-Patterning product. As part of this position, you will be part of a group of senior software engineers contributing to new development and supporting existing products. You will get first-hand experience of using your academic knowledge as part of development work in this intern position.
In this role you will:
  • Participate in R&D development of Calibre products
  • Develop high-quality software, application, tools, and algorithms
  • Analyze code for performance and do comparative studies of different development approaches
  • Work with and aid an existing development team
Organization Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree at an accredited university in computer/electrical engineering or computer science
  • Experience with programming languages: C/C++
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
  • Knowledge of integrated circuits is a plus

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $50.00 per hour. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
