We are recruiting a Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Professional to personally monitor the company's projects in the North of the country, support and work with the Lisbon team through the home office.
The QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety) Professional will be responsible for safeguarding the interests of quality, environment, health and safety assurance within the project. The status of project deliverables, processes and systems should be verified through appropriate inspection and testing procedures in order to detect any deviations from defined standards in a timely manner, as well as the implementation of corrective measures regarding their effectiveness.

What are the responsibilities? 
• Responsible for ensuring project specific quality, environment and safety;
• Support project managers in defining project specific QEHS objectives;
• Plan the project specific quality assurance measures together with the Project Manager;
• Create and maintain a project quality assurance plan based on the existing Quality Management (QM) system and any necessary supplements. If required, QMiP draws up a project-specific quality manual;
• Verify that quality requirements are implemented, through audits and reviews;
• Draw up the project specific quality assurance status reports measures and any deviations from the quality management requirements;
• Internal Audits at QEHS system;
• Support suppliers evaluation with 2nd party audits of suppliers;
• Evaluate detected deviations and report them;
• Support the Project Manager on all topics with relevance to product safety, in close cooperation with the QM of the Subdivision / Functional Division / Functional Department and the Division Product Safety Consultant.

What do you need to qualify for this job?
• University degree;
• Portuguese Professional Certificate for Health and Safety (CAP) is mandatory; 
• Fluent in Portuguese and English is mandatory;
• Experience in a similar role is mandatory;
• Previous experience in Industrial Automation quality and EHS or TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) management will be valued;
• Previous experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 will be valued;
• Experience in Continuous Improvement/ Control Systems Management will be valued;
• Knowledge in Total Quality Management and Quality Process Automation is highly valued;
• Availability for occasional travel to overseas operating sites.
