We develop standardized controller applications for Microgrids and Renewable Integration based on SICAM A8000/ S8000 portfolio. As product lifecycle manager you are further scaling our Microgrid Control application worldwide with full responsibility in terms of wall-to-wall profitability.

We are recruiting for a Product Lifecycle Manager for our SICAM Microgrid Control application. This is a unique opportunity to shape this new business field by developing innovative Microgrid Control applications based on SICAM A8000/ S8000 product family in close collaboration with our local and global product management, development, and sales teams.

New field of activity - challenging and future-oriented
  • You ensure an EVA (economic value added) oriented product strategy, define the market positioning, develop competitive advantages for the customers (USP: unique selling position) and manage the business ramp up
  • You are responsible for product definition and development, gather technical and economic requirements, create the product backlog, drive clarifications and reviews within requirement analysis phase, take care of sales and delivery releases and support pilot customers
  • You manage the product launch team, provide sales information (training concepts and documents, technical data sheets, catalogue contents, ...) and ensure proper product quality (delivery stops, bug fixing, customer information, exchange of products already shipped) together with all required quality management organizations and related publications
  • You observe the market, collect systematically information about competitors and apply that information to define your own product strategy and for sales information. This covers investigation of competitor products and gathering and preparation of price information
Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate
  • You have completed a master’s degree in a technical subject (electrical engineering, automation, power engineering, engineering informatics or renewable energies)
  • You have several years of relevant professional experience in the use of automation and software solutions in the field of energy transmission and distribution (preferably with the Digital Grid portfolio), especially in the field of distribution networks, microgrids and decentralized energy systems
  • You have already dealt with decentralized energy systems and renewable energies
  • You have basic knowledge in the areas of marketing, business administration, negotiation techniques as well as presentation and lecture techniques
  • You are fundamentally familiar with the subject of added value for the customer (“Customer Value”) and the “Value Creation” method
  • You are a team player and have already proven this in intercultural and international projects
  • You show initiative and convince in your goal-oriented presentations due to your communication skills and analytical skills in fluent business English, ideally also in another foreign language (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, German)
  • Finally, you are willing to undertake occasional international business trips
