We, the P&O Strategy and Product Development team, are just one year into driving a large-scale transformation within the People and Organization (P&O) function to help to become more agile, people-centric and business-driven to better co-own the overall Siemens transformation. Our remit includes strategy and portfolio management, and now we are strengthening our communication and transformation focus. We are a very international team (< 10 people) with  diverse backgrounds, e.g., strategy consulting, operational business management, and P&O business partnering.

What part will you play?

As a Senior Project Manager P&O Strategy (f/m/d), you will orchestrate the P&O Product Portfolio Management derived out of our Strategy and Strategy Process together with the core transformation team and coordinate all activities in alignment with MBM EXEC Office of our Chief People Officer, P&O Strategy teams within the Businesses and Key Expert Functions. 

In particular, you will:
  • Jointly with the global P&O Leadership Team, define, review, and adjust the strategy of P&O, incl. continuous development of the strategy process by connecting the dots" between all key projects / activities across the global P&O Ecosystem.
  • Drive and further develop our global P&O portfolio management.
  • Responsible for the timely delivery and presentation of project results to top-management.
  • Prepare and conduct top-management workshops up to Siemens Managing Board.
  • Give keynote speeches on strategy and portfolio management of P&O at Siemens-internal events.
  • Analyze and optimize processes, e.g., using value stream analysis or information structure analysis. 
  • Furthermore, you will connect our strategy approach with other elements of the transformation journey, such as cultural transformation, agile elements and communications.
  • Scan the most relevant external trends to provide impulse for moonshot discussion with the P&O Leadership and to shape the P&O strategy beyond.

  • Have an excellent university or college degree (master's/Ph.D.) or an MBA from a top business school and bring long-term years of professional experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy and can convince with outstanding analytical and conceptual skills combined with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Connect the dots within a complex global Ecosystem and to constantly push systemic thinking are key areas for success. 
  • Bring profound expertise in project management coupled with effective management skills, very strong business acumen and excellent stakeholder management, influencing skills and practical knowledge of design thinking of E-2-E portfolio solutions.
  • Bring outstanding presentation (incl. graphical expert capabilities) and facilitation skills from small to large groups
  • Are passionate, willing to work in an empowered environment and to continuously learn. In addition, your social competence and team spirit stand out. 
  • Have broad international experience complemented by excellent English language skills. You have lived and worked abroad and are willing to travel internationally (20-30 %)
  • Furthermore, experiences in business/functional transformations would be a good fit  with a good self-resilience during transformation processes.
  • Experience in HR strategy, HR portfolio management and New Work topics is a plus
What else do you need to know?

We care about finding the best talent. Our global headquarters is in Munich, Germany. However, we are open to considering candidates in any major Siemens locations/countries comfortable working in European timings.
