Then come and join our global team as Senior Financial Analyst Treasury, and assume independent responsibility for the controlling and reporting of all Treasury-related topics.

This position can be filled in Erlangen (Germany) or in Amadora (Portugal).

Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will undertake the strategic further development of the reporting system and define new KPIs for effective controlling in the Treasury environment
  • Working independently, you will support the planning and reporting process for all Treasury-related financial KPIs, such as net financial income/expense
  • You will take the initiative when it comes to developing business cases within the strategic further development framework as well as productivity programs, which you will represent to senior management. In this context, you will secure the commitment of all relevant stakeholders and drive forward implementation
  • You will autonomously coordinate IFRS-related matters and disclosures relating to the notes with Accounting and the external auditor, and represent these to Treasury management
  • Within the risk management framework, you will collate the Treasury risks and check these for correctness and completeness
  • You will be involved in developing and supporting back-testing and stress-testing scenarios
  • You will identify and implement digitalization opportunities in the processes that fall within your remit

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a degree in business administration or a comparable discipline
  • You have many years of professional experience in controlling or accounting, as well as experience in implementing projects or strategic realignments
  • A good Treasury understanding provides you with a firm foundation; you have already gained initial experience in Treasury reporting
  • You are familiar with the challenges of reporting at senior management level
  • A Chartered Financial Analyst qualification would be helpful
  • You can offer digitalization skills, for example with Power BI or QlikSense
  • We would also like to hear from you if you already have very sound and extensive professional experience and further qualifications in this field, but do not have a degree

Your attributes and skills:

  • You require very good German language skills in order to be able to provide internal German-speaking stakeholders with effective clarification of complex issues relating to the financial markets. Your excellent command of English enables you to communicate easily with management and international colleagues in order to ensure effective reporting
  • You have a sound track record in independently solving complex problems and presenting multifaceted issues
  • You have confident analytical capabilities, which enable you for example to field ad hoc management requests
  • You are a strong team player and always put the success of the team first
  • You think strategically and are motivated to drive forward continuous process optimization, especially with regard to digitalization
  • You are highly motivated to continue improving processes and are open to change
