As an Associate Rotation Engineer, you will be involved in a structured Associate Rotation Engineer Training Program. This is a fast-track paid training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technical problems.
Associate Rotation Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers crafting the most sophisticated hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry. This training program will give you outstanding insight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations. Upon successful completion of this 12-month training program, you will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations. Post program opportunities include Field Application Engineer, Corporate Applications Engineer and Technical Marketing Engineer positions.
Associate positions require excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Some travel may be required. CALIBRE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
A Calibre Associate Rotation Engineer is in the exciting position between our customers, who are using Calibre to manufacture groundbreaking semiconductor chips, and the Siemens EDA R&D and product teams developing the software solutions to enable the innovative design and manufacturing of semiconductor chips. As an application engineer, you will be responsible for working with our customers to deploy the Calibre software platform to solve our customer's toughest challenges. You will build a “trusted advisor” relationship with our customers to advise and assist them. You will also be a key part of the software development team reporting back to the product and R&D teams the feedback and requirements of our customers. The best way to become a Calibre Application Engineer is to start as an Associate Application Engineer.
Calibre is the leading design rule checking and computational lithography software. As an AE, you understand how to use Calibre and to be able to develop recipes using the Calibre SVRF software language. As an AE, you will need a sense of curiosity, ability to learn independently, an interest in semiconductors and semiconductor manufacturing and the desire to work with Siemens EDA customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or Masters: electrical engineer, chemical engineering, material science or computer science.
- Programming or scripting experience is highly recommended (Python, Bash)
- A familiarity with Linux is highly recommended
- Interest in working with both customers, product engineers and R&D engineers
SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $30.96 to $55.72 and this role is eligible to earn another 3-5% in variable pay. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
