Our Talent Acquisition team is currently seeking a motivated, tech savvy professional contract recruiter to work with our business leaders to attract, source, assess, and hire the best people to meet the needs of the business.

You will be part of a dynamic recruiting team that will share best practices in their industry. This in an onsite /hybrid role and you will be supporting our high growth rail manufacturing site in Sacramento, CA.

What you will be working on:

·       Provide consultative recruitment support on all facets of full life cycle recruiting for our growing organization.

·       Source and pipeline external talent using social media and HR industry leading technologies and systems.

·       Support Business Unit leadership teams, hiring managers, and People and Organization Partners to gain a solid understanding of business objectives and job requirements.

·       Drive the recruitment process to attain high quality talent and hiring manager engagement, including sourcing, screening, evaluate candidates by phone and/or video interviews (live and on-demand), document feedback and ensure follow-up with hiring managers

·       Utilize multiple creative techniques to proactively identify and attract passive talent through low cost/no cost sources such as networking, social media (LinkedIn), employee referrals, job postings, and the like.

·       Promote inclusion at Siemens by ensuring diverse candidate pools for all positions.

·       Train and counsel hiring managers, HR Business Partners and other employees on the recruiting process including relevant systems.

·      Ensure adherence to Siemens recruiting policies and procedures and compliance with applicable governmental regulations and legislation.


What you need to be successful:

·       8 plus years recruiting and/or recruiting operations experience for technical positions as well as operations roles within a field-based organization.

·       HS or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in HR or business-related field a plus.

·       Experience sourcing candidates using various sourcing techniques including Boolean search methods and solid understanding of LinkedIn recruiter.

·       Excellent written & verbal communication, customer service orientation, relationship building, teamwork, follow-up, and attention to detail.

·       Ability to prioritize a variety of different tasks and assignments. Demonstrable experience working in a dynamic team environment.

·      Proven consultative experience establishing business relationships and a track record of excellent customer satisfaction. We would be impressed if you had: Advanced degree

·      Experience using Avature (ATS / CRM) , Career Builder, Factory Fix, LinkedIn Recruiter and more

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

The hourly range for this California based non exempt contract position is $33.17- $40.00. 

The position is available for overtime.
