As part of the MTS DG software sales team, execute industry focused, consultative and value added software sales engagements (typically small to medium sized engagements) through productive business relationships with customers and prospects. Using appropriate methods, develop financially quantified value propositions, business cases and solution visions specific to a customer or prospect, within the agreed customer sales strategy, to support the sale of software. Build trusted advisor status by communicating knowledgeably with the customer around business challenges, industry trends, competitor landscapes and wider interfaces, through the delivery of thought leadership, articulating Siemens SISW MC vision and point of view on solution adoption to deliver business value using standard collateral. As a specialist resource, responsible for consulting, advising, recommending, designing, and where appropriate deploying, specific technical solutions of the MTS DG Software suite based on own specialist product knowledge and best practices in the subject area, for standard projects in country, in order for the MTS DG Software suite solution to be delivered successfully and provide value to the customer. Work largely undertaken by developing customer relationships through face-to-face contact and site visits to facilitate future software sales. Works on projects/assignments of diverse scope. Typically works under minimum supervision on assignments/projects.

Duties and Responsibilities Task Detail

  • Having around 8 to 10 years of experience inline with the job profile.
  • Individually provides support for small to medium sized engagements within a product or industry solution set, or acts as part of a team on larger opportunities
  • Support consultative sales engagements using available methods & tools (e.g. VDA or an approved alternative) to assess a prospect’s business condition,  current situation, challenges and opportunities and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Work with the Services Business Consultants, and Sales Account Manager to support the close of new software business within key strategic customer accounts.
  • Certified electrician should be able to do wiring on machine as required.
  • As part of the Siemens SISW bid proposal team, provide support for the development of strong value based bid material
  • Build trusted advisor status by communicating knowledgably with the customer around business challenges, industry trends, competitor landscapes and wider interfaces, through the delivery of thought leadership, and speaking with authority, articulating Siemens SISW's vision and point of view on SISW product adoption to deliver business value using standard collateral.
  • Work with customers to understand their business strategy and development a high-level customer vision and business case that resolves identified business pain and leverages SISW technology as a business enabler, in conjunction with PreSales Solution Architect and Sales representative
  • Aid in the development of financially quantified, business linked value propositions specific to a customer or prospect. 
  • Contribute to the project kick off meeting to ensure successful hand-over and transition to the professional services team, providing all internal Project Delivery Methodology populated templates and other relevant customer information.  Helps develop customer relationships to assure successful implementation. 
  • Facilitate appropriate customer introductions to help professional services team deliver a successful implementation, and ensure that relevant customer stakeholder information and strategies are transferred
  • Delivers supporting activities to communicate SISW product capabilities via internal and external Awareness and Marketing Events. Examples include Exhibitions, Customer Days, Road shows, User Conferences, Product Launches
  • Supports go to market activities
  • Good experience in Fanuc control ,CNC, Siemens Controller

• Be the Subject Matter Expert  for SISW/PLM business value and the development of meaningful and best in class value propositions for one solution domain

• Communicate sales, presales and customers’ needs to other internal organizations such as operations management, product development and marketing.

• As part of a team, evaluate business potential of new markets and/or new solutions and contribute to the definition, build and continuous improvement of customer engagement models, business cases, quantified value propositions, supporting SISW/PLM solution vision proof points, and other presales tools, to address new markets and/or specific solution opportunities in these markets.

• Contribute to the plan, definition, adjustment, build & delivery of PreSales Standard improvements / Know How regarding (Sub-)Domain Value Argumentation and/or Industry/Process Best Practices
