TIA Sales End User Enterprise Account Executive

Position Overview

The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for developing and driving sales, establishing customer preference and winning specifications for Siemens in named accounts across multiple vertical segments, with special focus on intra-logistics. The focus is on selling DI’s Industrial Automation/Drives/Communication portfolio of Products, Solutions and Services. The position encompasses nationwide responsibility and requires close partnership with our distributors and solution partners,

The position reports directly to the Director TIA End-User Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable and profitable revenue growth in the named accounts
  • Engage with named accounts with a compelling message to win their specification for Siemens Industrial Automation/Drives/Communication products, solutions and services
  • Develop and lead the execution of a long-range growth strategy and business plan for the named accounts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships on executive level through extensive personal customer engagement
  • Provide transparency and internal reporting, forecasting, monthly status meetings
  • Alignment with VMs (for vertical markets), OEM and Partner Sales to develop and drive push-pull approach in the account ecosystem
  • Siemens-internal initiative development and execution in collaboration with DI BUs
  • Closely collaborate with DI’s Digital Enterprise (DE) team and the respective Siemens Industrial Software (SISW) verticals to promote the Siemens Digitalization initiative to these end users and to sell the pertaining DE offerings
  • Contribute in key channel (distributors/integrators) planning activities

Required

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in Account Management or equivalent role representing a similar breadth of industrial portfolio.

Demonstrated track record of effectively navigating highly-matrixed organizations including culture and processes is critical to success of this position.

This ideal candidate must have successfully demonstrated:

Technical and Customer Capabilities:

  • 8+ years of experience and deep knowledge of the Industrial OT environment and its key applications
  • Excellent understanding of customers, markets, business operations and people
  • Customer Relationship Management effectiveness, and demonstrated ability to systematically drive an effective sales campaign
  • Solid familiarity with pricing-management ideology & tools
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills to engage with customers’ top executives
  • Proven track record of success in operating with multiple channels to market, including direct sales, distributors, system integrators

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth
  • Demonstrate values of sales excellence, growth mindset, ownership culture and accountability
  • Willing to take measured risk and demonstrate the ability to act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence
  • Understands the difference between tactical and strategic, and strikes the right balance in his/her daily job
