Job Description

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a talented and collaborative Scientist in Biochemistry to join our inclusive and collaborative team in Llanberis. This full-time scientist role comes with a favourable salary, many excellent benefits and the chance to progress your career at a thriving company.

Working within CRMM Biochemistry, you will be involved in allergy and ab purification, manufacturing of affinity columns in house, Ag/Ab conjugation including biotinylation, Analytical analysis, SDS Gel, Western blot, and Allergen preparation.

In your first few weeks in this Scientist role, you can expect to:

  • Carry out planned work to achieve key milestones based on priority and maximize efficiency according to set priorities
  • Write up technical reports for all assigned work
  • Generate reports and participate in meetings to support the relevant processes where required
  • Develop your technical knowledge.

To succeed in this Biochemistry job, you will need to graduate in a science discipline or have relevant industry experience. You will also require the following:

  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Relevant transferrable experience
  • Demonstrable experience in an environment with immunoassay and functional testing
  • Knowledge of immunoassays in an advanced form of test.
