Siemens Healthineers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Laboratory Scientist to join our inclusive team. This full-time Laboratory Scientist role is based iat our fantastic Llanberis site. 

Working within CRMM Allergy, you will be involved in allergy and ab purification, manufacturing of affinity columns in house, Ag/Ab conjugation including biotinylation, Analytical analysis, SDS Gel, Western blot, and Allergen preparation.

In your first few weeks in this Senior Scientist role, you can expect to:

  • Carry out planned work to achieve key milestones based on priority and maximize efficiency according to set priorities
  • Write up technical reports for all assigned work
  • Generate reports and participate in meetings to support the relevant processes where required
  • Develop your technical knowledge.

To succeed in this flexible role, you will need to be a graduate in a science discipline or relevant industry experience. You will also require the following:

  • Computer literacy (advanced) and relevant transferrable experience
  •  Experience in an environment with immunoassay and functional testing
  • Knowledge of Immunoassays (an advanced form of testing)
