Siemens Healthineers has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Allergy Technician to join our inclusive team. This is a full-time laboratory technician role based in Llanberis.

As an Allergy Technician, you will be responsible for performing various techniques and related processes as well as providing general lab-based technical support to a team of scientists. You will also plan daily work such that all activities tasks are completed as per requirements of the team.

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

  • Perform laboratory allergy techniques relating to purification and conjugation of allergens and proteins
  • Carry out calibration or maintenance of any personal or assigned equipment as specified in relevant procedures
  • Maintain GMP and GLP standards within the work environment.

To apply for this role, you will need to be a graduate in a science discipline or laboratory and industrial experience. You will also require the following:

  • Knowledge of Immunoassay/in-vitro diagnostics
  • Laboratory experience and ideally allergen purification and conjugation
  • Ability to communicate technical information both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems.
