Then come in and join our global team as  Radiation Protection Officer Assistant (Contract)  to perform administration process related with Atomic Energy Licensing Board for Siemens Healthineers MY and to ensure all regulatory process are performed and adhered to with high efficiency. 

Your task and responsibilities:

  • You will  assist the Radiation Protection Officer / Radiation Protection Supervisor in AELB / regulatory related matter
  • You will assist the  RPO in determining level of training and retraining of RPO and radiation workers
  • You will  assist the RPO in monitoring radiation emergency plan and procedures
  • You will  assist RPO in regulatory audit by regulatory body
  • You will act as the official liaison with regulatory body on behalf of the RPO
  • You will execute, record and update below documents:
a. Monthly dose monitoring program for radiation worker (Customer Service Engineer)
b. Medical record for radiation worker and worker database maintenance
c. Radiation worker movement record
d. Ensure complete maintenance record for the radiation apparatus in AELB system.
e. Ensure disposal of radiation apparatus records are updated.
f. Ensure calibration of radiation device are done accordingly.
g. Statement of ownership / sales of irradiating apparatus
h. Import / Export record
i. Radioactive material movement record
j. Security and Emergency Plan record
k. Maintenance of other records as required under AELB

Your qualifications and experiences:

  • You have a  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM based degree or degree in relevant field
  • You have 1-2 years experience in radiation protection related work
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Your personality and skills:

  • You have good communication skills across the organization (both written and verbal)
  • You have a can-do attitude
  • You are self motivated and excellent in record keeping skills
  • You able to work independently, process and result oriented
