Change the future with us and What are my responsibilities?

We are looking for a PID Control Engineer responsible for PCS 7 library development. The primary responsibility will be to design and implement complex control loops-based solutions (i.e., function blocks) which includes PID algorithms to deliver a product. The solutions must be developed in Structured Control Language (SCL) / Statement List (STL) for S7-400 Programming and C Script/VB script/C++ for OS programming

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain PID controller logic.

implementing features & bug fixes on control loops-based function blocks

Analyze and provide solution to the customer requirements related to PID.

Responsible for research, design, coding, debug, and testing of new or existing features

Responsible for crafting and integrating software for Siemens’ PCS 7 version

Responsible for analyzing the product defects and prepare the analysis report

Experience:

5+ years in Industrial automation domain – Control loop system engineer.

Qualification: B. E/ B.Tech

Skills

Proficient in PID controller. Having extensive knowledge on PID control philosophy, commissioning experience in PID tuning and in advanced closed loop control systems/processes.

Experience in predictive process control loop system.

Skilled in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.

Knowledge and experience in DCS (PCS 7/PCS neo)

Commissioning experience of process plants

Thorough Knowledge on Structured Control Language (SCL) / Statement List (STL) for S7-400 Programming

Experience in C/C++, VB is an added advantage

Siemens DCS system (S7 -400 PLC, PCS 7, TIA, WinCC) knowledge will be an added advantage.

Experience in Siemens products like (APL, Industry library, APG, APF, BRAUMAT, SC) will be an added advantage.

Set up the test environments for different deployment, which involves configuration of the products.

Communicate effectively and stack holder management

Flexible/availability at unforeseen situations

TFS, Visual Studio, PLC usage

Working experience with SCADA system
