Job Description


  • Take the lead in all commercial, contractual and finance related aspects along the Pre-Sales Phase up to completion of tender stage.
  • Full ownership (jointly with the Project Manager) in the management and oversight of a project throughout its lifecycle, taking an active role in all aspects of the process



  • Ensure reliable and transparent costing and stringent implementation of pricing strategy
  • Be the key interface to subject matter experts e.g., from procurement, legal, tax, customs, transfer price and insurance
  • Together with the Bid Manager drive the identification, evaluation and assessment of risks and opportunities, define mitigation strategies and response plan and take over the full responsibility with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities
  • Be involved in the negotiation with the customer to drive the bid team with all commercial and contractual aspects and in line with bid strategy
  • Ensure bid documentation from commercial aspects are in line with the mandatory internal and external requirements
  • Support accurate handover to the project execution team incl. order entry calculation and proper documentation reflecting all changes during tender stage


  • Manage the overall commercial topics in project execution including Cost Controlling, Reporting, & Forecasting, claim management, opportunity & risk management
  • Project business administration including invoicing and cash collection
  • Assurance of the correctness, consistency, and transparency of the overall project's financial status
  • Involved in the Project month end closing activities - prepare cost accruals/provisions, ensure revenue and profit declarations are properly recognized
  • Support internal & external project audits as required, and perform project close out activities
  • Collaboration with the Project Manager in terms of the project's strategic orientation and its respective internal and external communication
  • Active management of projects stakeholders.

Required Knowledge/Skills & Qualifications:

  • University diploma or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of successful Financial and Project Management and/or Business Controller experience
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
  • Excellent commercial, oral and written communication skills

Preferred Required Knowledge/Skills & Qualifications:

  • Preferred Certification: Project Management Certification
