Marketing Data Analyst

Job Description

As a Marketing Analyst you will research and identify ways to drive Marketing ROI/ROO and ultimately to achieve more with less. In this role, you will be required to gather data, write detailed reports on findings, identify new opportunities, and advise upper management on marketing tactics as well as consult the MarCom teams in the U.S on budget distribution. This individual works closely with the MarCom teams, global digital functions, and peers.  Your responsibilities include aligning on KPIs, tracking campaign initiatives and marketing programs, researching consumer behavior, and exploring market trends and opportunities. 

We are looking for a razor-sharp marketing analyst to review and interpret market trends, customer experience, competitors’ activities, and marketing initiatives. To be successful in this role, you should have experience as a Marketing Analyst or Digital Marketer and be comfortable with processing and analyzing marketing data and sharing insights as well as key learnings with other stakeholders and leadership. The successful candidate must demonstrate great digital marketing and analytical skills, strong business acumen, resourcefulness, passion, as well as the ability to work effectively within a highly matrixed organization.

The individual contributor, reports to the Head, Digital Marketing USA.

  • Analyze, report, and connect marketing data to show ROI and ROO
    • Measure ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns
    • Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement
    • Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)
    • Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
    • Conduct consumer, market and competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
  • Consult on segmentation for marketing programs to be more targeted and how to spend marketing budget most efficiently 
  • Develop consistent marketing dashboards, reporting templates, and KPIs across NAM and ensure data health
  • Design and implement market and consumer surveys.
  • Monitoring the efficacy of marketing trends through analytical tools and software.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or related field  
  • Work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing and marketing analytics
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and MS Excel
  • Expertise with reporting tools and dashboard development
  • Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask several projects effectively
  • Operational and business acumen
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams without authority
  • Good communications and training skills 
  • Strong ability to work well in highly matrixed organization
