Digital Marketing Social Media Manager

Job Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will drive the social media strategy and implementation for the U.S. to increase brand awareness and drive demand. In addition, you will enable Marketing, MarCom and sales teams to maximize the utilization of social media. This individual works closely with all MarCom Managers, the global social media team and digital marketing peers.

To create efficiencies and increase business impact, you are required to continuously research social media trends and introduce new, innovative ways to engage with our audiences as well as share best practices with the MarCom teams to promote our brand, solutions, and services to the U.S. market in a timely manner.  You will also build and manage an organic U.S. social community by publishing local and regional initiatives.

The successful candidate should be an expert in leveraging social media as a brand and business channel. Extensive knowledge of the various social media channels, use cases and workflows are also a prerequisite for this role. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent digital marketing and communications skills including copywriting and design for social media channels, strong business acumen, strong teamwork, resourcefulness, passion, as well as the ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization. 

The individual contributor, reports to the Head, Digital Marketing USA.
  • Drive holistic social media strategy and implementation to increase brand awareness and drive demand for solutions and services in the U.S.
  • Build U.S. social media community to drive brand perception by creating, supporting and publishing local and regional stories
  • Support sales with social selling initiatives
  • Own employee advocacy program for the U.S. including content creation 
  • Develop and implement new streamlined business processes to accelerate time to market
  • Data governance and quality control for social media platforms/tools 
  • Overall Project Management for social media for the U.S. market
  • Main liaison between MarCom team and the global social media team
  • Drive new technologies in close collaboration with global
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field  
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, social media or similar role
  • 8+ years of working experience in digital marketing or communications
  • Expertise with various social media channels and project management 
  • Ability to multitask several projects effectively
  • Strong operational and business acumen
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams without authority
  • High attention to detail
  • Superb communications and training skills 
  • Strong ability to work well in highly matrixed organization
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Experience in healthcare marketing preferred
