This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Head of Transformation Operations and Project Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting to the global Head of Strategy & Transformation for Diagnostics, as part of the global Transformation Management Office, you will play a key role in planning and executing the global transformation of the Healthineers Diagnostics business with over 15.000 employees
  • Acting as program manager and overall operations team lead, you will scope, plan, and ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives across all functions of Diagnostics
  • You will hire and lead a team of transformation project managers to plan and drive the day-to-day implementation of individual transformation initiatives
  • You will orchestrate TMO operations, define the global transformation project plan and manage its execution together with the global Head of Strategy & Transformation for Diagnostics
  • You will interface with senior leadership within Diagnostics to understand and help shape transformation workstream planning and execution

  • You have experience in defining and implementing cross-functional, large scale strategic projects in global businesses as responsible project and/or program manager, ideally related to transformation
  • You are result oriented, you have grit, and you know how to overcome challenges to bring projects to successful conclusion
  • You thrive in a technology-focused, analytical culture and you have a strong affinity for the biomedical and/or medical device space
  • You have experience in hiring and managing a team of result-oriented project managers
  • You are pragmatic and you can resolve challenges in complex organizations
  • You know how to effectively communicate with a broad array of stakeholders
  • You have strong PC skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint and can efficiently use these tools to analyze and communicate business situations and opportunities

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field, business, or finance, MBA or other advanced science / engineering degree strongly preferred and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the IVD (preferred), medical device, or life science fields
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy
  • At least 3 years of project leadership and team leadership experience
  • You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to create high impact communication materials
  • You must have the capability to simultaneously lead and manage multiple high complexity projects.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
