IT Test Manager (PMO Testing Services)

Job Description

As Project Management/ Program Management support you will assist project managers from within the Project Management Office department to manage customer requirements, project finances, project's life cycle, stakeholders and risks, compliance to standards, rules and regulations develop further business opportunities while driving project implementations.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

To perform this role efficiently, the test manager:

  • Must be well-versed in testing methods while also completing the traditional test management tasks.
  • Oversees test activities which include creation and execution of test plans/concept ensuring alignment with standards and the agreed upon schedule, assurance of proper test environment set up, development of test cases, readiness of testing tools, defect management, and testing status reporting.
  • Instructs and monitors testing resources on proper procedures to ensure compliance, status reporting, communication of risks, coordinate issue resolution, defect tracking and defect triage activities.
  • Understands the regulatory nature of testing within a healthcare (or similarly regulated) IT industry, where attention to detail in documentation is critical.
  • Serves as a liaison and primary support for project managers, test designers, testers, and business, resulting in an effective testing effort.
  • Has a working knowledge of automation of test scenarios.
  • Regularly creates status reports, ensures proper communication to all related projects including managing and preparing global virtual meetings

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in related discipline or advanced degree, preferred. On the job experience will be reviewed for applicability. Certification in Agile, Scrum preferred

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations.
  • Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.

Experience:

  • Successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. 1-3 years of experience for basic projects.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2000 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
