We are looking for a Software Developer, committed to creating innovative solutions for new extensions for DesigoCC (https://www.siemens.com/it/it/prodotti/buildingtechnologies/automation/desigo/building-management/desigo-cc.html)  and Building X( https://www.siemens.com/global/en/products/buildings/building-x.html )in the Application & Integration Center in Milan within the Building Products area.

As Software Developer some of the main activities will be:

• Developing southbound integrations and northbound applications
• Analyzing 3rd party Interface Specs to support feasibility studies
• Applying your technical knowledge to identify the best way to meet customer expectations
• Supporting customers during test phase and after market release
• Coordinating the team members to supervise projects progress
• Fixing technical issues and cooperating with R&D to improve product quality and capabilities, shaping the product direction based on customers’ requests and their impact

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

• Knowledge on programming languages C#, HTML, Javascript and CSS.
  Familiarity with Go and Angular is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience with REST APIs.
  Standard protocols know-how (eg. BACnet, Modbus, OPC) is a plus.
• IT networking know-how, with a focus on troubleshooting.
• Interest in SaaS applications and familiarity with cloud environments.
• Experience with Planner or equivalent project monitoring tools and with GitLab or equivalent repository platforms.
• Aiming to collaborate and be a teamplayer, using your communication and organizational skills.
• Passion to never-stop growing
• Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
• Proficiency in English and Italian
• Eligibility to work in Italy
