Within Siemens Mobility Customer Services, the DSS (Data Services Sales) team spearheads the acquisition process of IT- and digital services. We are hiring a Junior Technical Sales Manager for Digital Services (m/w/d) for our organization in Portugal.

This is an exciting role with constant international exposure. The selected candidate will join a multi-cultural team of sales experts addressing the global market, leading sales initiatives for various customers around the globe in close cooperation with regional managers and headquarter experts.

What are the key tasks of this role?

  • Understand customer requirements and translate them into solution offerings based on the Siemens Mobility Customer Service SaaS portfolio
  • Produce budgets and technical solution descriptions together with Siemens solution engineers, solution architects, regional sales organizations and other project related stakeholders
  •  Create competitive and profitable customer price proposals, present them to internal and external stakeholders and support contract negotiation
  •  Collect and analyze market requirements and convey findings to the Customer Service organization as input for strategic decisions and product portfolio development

What is the profile we are looking for?
  •  Academic degree preferably Bachelors/MSc., in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, data science, data engineering or comparable subject areas
  •  Prior experience in Sales or Project Management is highly valued
  •  Good understanding of IT technologies, interest in technical innovation
  •  Critical-thinker and technology enthusiast
  •  Good communication and presentation skills
  •  Fluency in English is a must; other languages are valued
