This role is for the after-sales Service of Industrial Steam Turbines that includes preparing the offers for sales of Spare Parts, overhauling and Repair and further support in order processing & delivery.
Proactively look for the new inquiries in Sales-Force database for new Service opportunities on a regular basis. Keep track of the upcoming turbine overhauls and promptly create offers for the spare parts and repairs.
Collaborate with the Sales managers, PM, OM, Engineering and Field Service teams in order to prepare competitive offers.
Should keep strong focus on “Quotation Response Time” and ensure very quick submission of the offers to customers.
Timely book the orders and keep track of the order processing and delivery commitments.
Should be well versed with Industrial Steam Turbines product portfolio and have good technical understanding of the technology.
Stay closely connected with the customers and provide extensive support to the customers on a regular basis.
Travel on need basis.
>5years experience into Sales support function (preferably into Service business of Industrial Steam Turbines)
B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute
Should possess strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of Steam Turbines
Strong understanding of commercial and financial aspects of contracts.
