This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Laboratory Technician 4, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out investigations and helping implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Participating in the design of experiments
  • Performing data analysis and writing internal reports and documentation
  • Performing customer investigations following written protocols and assisting in the preparation of summary reports for escalations.
  • Working in the laboratory operating the Centaur family and Atellica instruments with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin 

This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.

Required Education, Skills & Experience: 

  • BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pre-Med, Healthcare
  • Minimum: 3+ Years of related experience
  • Demonstrated experience of following standard operating procedures such as buffer or reagent preparation and other lab techniques
  • Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills
  • Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Must successfully pass a DEA background check. 

Preferred Education, Skills & Experience:

  • Good understanding and knowledge of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies and principles of immunodiagnostic technology as well as experience with immunoassays
  • Protein chemistry and chromatography knowledge and experience
  • Experience with automated immunoassay analyzers and/or ELISA and chemiluminescent technology
  • Proficiency with Statistical Software such as Minitab
  • Industrial diagnostic test development or support, Clinical Laboratory; Medical Technologist experience
