Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • As part of an international team, you will work as Product Manager for syngo.via advanced visualization in the area of imaging IT, with responsibility for the specification, business success and successful further development of the product
  • Your remit will include implementing the overarching strategy in the product, ensuring compliance with medical technology standards and focusing in particular on successful global use as well as the updatability, profitability and rapid availability of the product in the countries
  • You will aggregate, consolidate and prioritize clinical customer requirements in the corresponding specifications, and will be responsible for verifying that these have been implemented in the software during product development, validation and testing
  • In this regard, you will pay particular attention to requirements that on the one hand improve the cost position and thus the profitability of the product in the long term, such as installability, updatability/upgradability, IT integration and serviceability, and on the other hand promote increased use and innovation, which can be made available via additional clinical functions such as plugins, tools, xBL applications and AI-Rad Companion
  • Working independently, you will analyze and formulate concepts for the integration of clinical functions and AI as well as other automated data and operational workflows into routine diagnostics
  • You will collaborate with international, cross-functional teams in R&D, project management, native/syngo platform, clinical and efficiency, marketing and sales, logistics, SCM and service in order to maximize business success

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have completed a degree in an engineering or information science discipline, such as computer science, medical technology or comparable
  • Your impressive track record includes many years of professional experience involving software in diagnostic imaging processes
  • We would also welcome applications from candidates who hold a bachelor's degree or have completed a vocational training and further training with additional professional experience in this area
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of the radiological diagnostics workstation and the associated requirements and challenges as well as corresponding digital solutions in this environment (scanner workstation, PACS, AV, RIS, HIS)
  • You are well-versed in installing and integrating software products in clinical environments
  • You have in-depth experience of the current challenges faced by our customers with regard to advancing digitalization, industrialization and automation

Your attributes and skills:

  • We work in an international and intercultural environment, so you are business-fluent in spoken and written English; German language skills would be an advantage
  • You have a direct, straightforward style of communication, and your negotiating skills enable you to manage discussions and agreements effectively and to moderate and resolve critical situations
  • You show a keen interest in generating tangible value added for our customers
  • We step boldly − You show a keen interest in and professional knowledge of analyzing problems and identifying solutions in a pragmatic and sustainable manner
  • You demonstrate passion in everything you do, and enjoy collaborating with international experts, clinical customers and partners
  • International business trips (approx. 20-30%) are a welcome change for you
