What will you do?
- Stimulate sales growth with Factory Automation SEA portfolio across the product lines. Develop and drive the relationships with existing and new End Customers, Solution partners.
- Generate new business by developing strategies to secure target clients while using all available sales resources to produce optimal results
- Understanding the scope of the customer requirements and propose the solution which provides business benefits to customer with respect to efficiency, productivity & reliability improvements. Also, help quotation team to explain customer’s requirements, additional scope of supply to create the proposals/quotations of Factory Automation contracts etc
- Understand the value-added services that are vital for establishing partnerships with our clients to better understand their needs while providing them with a technical advisory solution. The incumbent shall surpass the expectations of its clients and perform with a sense of urgency
- The appointee must among other things understand how to determine, qualify, exploit and maintain a sufficient volume of business opportunities to achieve business objectives with regard to anticipated orders and targets for Factory Automation.
- Efficiently assess the End Users need to ensure productive consultations and customized solution offerings
- Supervise strategic accounts, analyses with the team to develop action plans that can help us impose our position to find business opportunities and define target strategies and actions
- Regularly maintain the customer opportunities into customer relationship management system tool.
This is a national role which will require 40-50% of travel across Canada
What will you need to succeed:
- 5 years of prior sales experience in Industrial Automation ideally or Industrial Engineering
- Very strong technical knowledge is required in Factory Automation, Industrial automation
- Understand how the system integration and solution partner / EPC works
- Excellent understanding of industrial systems along with their applications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering or in a technical discipline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English to interact with Customer, supplier, and colleagues across Canada
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
- Ability to manage time and resources as well as work within a team environment is essential for success in this role
- Ability to travel 40-50% of the time across Canada as the role is national
