Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
Are you interested in a technically challenging and promising job that will enable you to make a significant contribution to expanding the rail share of freight and passenger traffic? Then join our engineering team, develop the globally successful rail vehicles from Siemens Mobility and contribute to bringing maximum tractive power to the rails in the future.
- You will design and develop the software for controlling the electric drives of our high-performance locomotives.
- You will also coordinate the functions and interfaces with the specialists for the other system components.
- You will work together as a team on solutions for current designs, new customer requirements, improvements and new functions.
- You always focus on the reusability of your work results in terms of a platform strategy.
- In addition, you put the results into practice to increase the efficiency and reliability of the vehicles.
- You actively support the testing of drive functions in simulation, in the laboratory and on the vehicles.
- You will continuously develop yourself in this position. In doing so, various development directions are open to you with the technical expert role in engineering as well as the assumption of technical project coordination.
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
- You have completed a master's or diploma degree at a university in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics.
- Sound knowledge of the control and regulation of electric drives is part of your background.
- You have practical knowledge of structured and model-based software development - from requirements analysis to testing and documentation.
- You enjoy dealing with complex problems, are goal-oriented and communicative.
- You consciously use presence work in the office as well as mobile work to achieve your work goals.
- You are willing to travel at home and abroad as required in the work environment (up to 20%)
- In addition, you speak German at least on Level B2 and very good English.
