Controlling Professional

The Siemens IT FIN AAE team consists of employees across Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East and is part of the global organization of IT Finance. We are overall responsible to develop, implement and continuously improve all relevant financial strategies, concepts, policies and business activities within the Siemens global IT organization. As the Controlling Professional located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be expected to perform the financial partner role for regional SAP related services, which includes the commercial topics that are outlined below, but may not be limited to those mentioned.

• Performs all aspects of yearly financial cycles such as planning, year-end closing, and monthly/quarterly reporting

• Displays highly effective networking, collaboration and time management skills

• Analyzes all aspects of the IT process and reporting: Services, Projects, Provider- / Receiver-view, Productivity, Headcount

• Ensures consistency and accuracy of costs and recovery for the various SAP related services and projects

• Continuously monitors and analyzes forecasts & budgets with clarifications of the relevant deviations

• Supports technical teams with productivity and cost reduction intiatives as required

• Analyzes impacts of business unit developments such as new acquisitions, separations, and/or new applications on SAP related systems

• Aligns and implements regional and global IT strategies

• Actively participates in the Finance community and seeks for process simplification, standardization and business efficiency including improvement possibilities and automation

• Integrates data between various source systems and maintains it

• Carries out ad-hoc analyses and data consolidation of various kinds as required

• BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• At least 1-3 years’ experience in similar business controlling or finance roles, ideally in a Multinational Corporate Controlling environment

• Highly proficient in MS office, and a working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and related reporting tools preferred

• Good in business communication skills and strong adaptability on rapid changes

• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
