What part will you play?
In your new role you are part of the Head Quarter Vertical Pharma team, with main objective to head our team of experts, worldwide promoting automation portfolio of Siemens, supporting our regions going to market with defined solutions (made of integrated elements of our portfolio).
More precisely, your mission with your team is to support, delivering your expertise and network, to our Automation sales organizations and customer success organization.
Developing a strong link, coordination and influence with product owner & project execution organizations is also part of this job.
The key objectives are:
- You manage your own team of experts, with clear targets, shared with the entire Pharma community
- You gain full and comprehensive understanding of the Business Model (offering and its value proposition) with special focus on Pharma
- Develop new solutions (group of existing products) and support further growth of related business in pharmaceutical industry, following an agreed business plan
- Develop, within your team, internal entrepreneurs of an owned solution (group of portfolio elements)
- Develop a strong network internally and externally to Siemens, in order to play important role connecting relevant people together, increasing customer confidence
- Support the sales organization for new project acquisitions and then support the hand over to the project execution team
- With your team, you participate and drive standardization initiatives, for increasing efficiency of implementations (repeatable solutions)
What you need to make real what matters.
- You have successfully completed a Degree in Engineering or a related field
- In your previous role you were able to gain significant management experience
- You have many years of experience as automation engineer for the industry (ideally Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences) with Factory Automation and/or Process Automation portfolio
- You have strong relationship skills, including capacity to convince customers being a trusted partner
- Good judgment, objectivity, team spirit and policy management are key attributes necessary for success in this role which you have already gained trough experience
- Furthermore, you are experienced in cross-regional and cross-cultural projects and therefore, you have an excellent knowledge of English; any additional language is a plus
