Join our team as Legal Entity Controller (m/f/d) in Linz or Vienna!
Siemens Industry Software (SISW) Legal Entity Finance is responsible for the controlling of the legal entity as well as providing an implemented governance framework to ensure adequate operations across all businesses. Our mission is to ensure controlling and reporting of the legal entities in Austria & Switzerland and the coordination of the closing activities with all stakeholders to provide correctness of legal entity books and records in line with local statutory requirements as well as with FRG. Under our Governance responsibility, we guide the organization to provide strong stewardship with respect to compliance, local guidelines and harmonized procedures and to ensure smooth business integrations.

You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by
- Consolidating and reviewing monthly financial figures between different reporting systems (2 SAP systems, ESPRIT, Hyperion Planning etc) as well as analysis of monthly results
- Supporting monthly creation and update of management reporting package for legal entities incl. commentaries
- Coordination and consolidation of Forecast and Budgeting process for the legal entities incl. cash and balance sheet planning
- Supporting the monthly closing coordination for all entities within Switzerland and Austria and ensuring correctness and completeness of provisions and accruals in the monthly closing results, coordination of balance sheet reconciliations with the team and Hub Accounting team
- Supporting and driving major SAP project for the Swiss legal entity from process design and testing to roll out and transfer into day-to-day operations
- Supporting the year end closing process as well as the year end statutory audits
- Being responsible for transfer pricing related documentation and implementation of relevant guidelines as well as transfer pricing documentation for audits for all SISW legal entities in Austria and Switzerland
- Ensuring the alignment of all financial activities with the internal control system, contact for internal and external audits
- Driving new initiatives such as reporting automation and constant change within the Legal Entity Operations team and beyond
What do you need to realize what matters.
- Critical thinking with analytical skills and excellent attention to quality and detail
- Being an open minded team player acting as role model in a cross-border team
- Above average degree in Business Administration or Economics (university or equivalent), preferably with major in Accounting, Tax or Controlling
- Proven track record with >5 years professional experience within Siemens or a related Software industry
- Solid background in controlling, reporting and/or international tax
- Excellent communicational and organizational skills, ability to interact with various organizational levels and drive new initiatives
- High affinity to work with tools and applications (SAP, Tableau, Knime/ Alteryx, Hyperion Planning, Excel, ppt) and continuous process improvements
- Fluency in English and German language
