Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock is adding a, Group Lead for our Finishing department. In this exciting role, your primary responsibility will be to support and training Assembly team to meet production goals. You will be the primary leadership contact for a diverse high producing team and will strive to ensure your team is proficient, safe, and productive.
What you will be doing:
• Determining the main productions steps, Following the instructions, reviewing work Schedules with your manager.
• Ordering and release material based for the WO, Implementing the required ENG modification, fixing Errors and QA finding.
• Manage budget hours and improving the budget hours by organizing teamwork and monitor it.
• Prepare standard work instructions and share updates with teamwork.
• Coordinate work schedules in coordination with operational objectives.
• Implementing Warehouse improvements, controlling work orders, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, keep tracking of inventory.
• Send productions reports to manager, update budget hours and safety report to the manger.
• Ensuring all safety measure are followed
What you will need to be successful:
• 2 Years’ experience in a production assembly or Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to read and understanding the drawing.
• Experience leading a diverse team about 25 people in a production or Manufacturing environment
• A history of “hands-on” approach to problem solving and countermeasure implementation within own areas of responsibility.
• Ability to stand and walk must time
• Communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekend when we need and ability to work for deferent shift.
We would be impressed if you had:
• 5 + years of experience planning and supporting launch of new production lines in a low-speed production environment (e.g., rail, aviation/aerospace, naval, heavy equipment, etc.).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (Or Equivalent Experience)
• Work experience in the rail business, preferably in light rail, heavy rail, or related production, is needed.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar MRP / ERP systems is highly desired.
• Practical experience in Customer Service / Maintenance / After Market businesses and technologies within the rail industry Highly preferred.
