Siemens Smart Infrastructure are recruiting a Commissioning Engineer with experience in the security industry to help us find solutions to make the world a smarter place for tomorrow.
The successful candidate will be in a commissioning role with the responsibility for helping deliver and maintain security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Perimeter Detection.
The role will predominantly be based in the Midlands and Yorkshire area, but will require occasional travel across the UK to support certain projects & customer sites.
You will successfully deliver; service and fault find on complex security systems with our end-customers from various domains & disciplines. You will provide pre-sales support to our sales teams and support the project manager and commercial team to deliver projects & service contracts on target and within scope.
What will you deliver?
- Commissioning of Large Integrated Security Systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Perimeter Detection Systems
- Completion of clear & accurate work reports, service reports and commissioning certificates
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients and maintain the highest standards of quality
- On site/remote management of service delivery through site meetings and co-ordination with internal & external stakeholders
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements
- Respond to all communications within a timely manner
- Sound problem solving skills, fault finding skills and analytical thinking
What skills and responsibilities will you bring?
- You will have significant experience working in the Security Industry, delivering and servicing of large complex CCTV & Access Control systems.
- A good working knowledge of a variety of manufacturer's equipment, products and systems.
- You will enjoy working collaboratively and have the ability to build relationships internally and externally with a wide range of departments.
- Experience of BMS and / or Fire Systems within a construction environment would be preferred
