GDC team leader of ServiceNow team

Job Description

Overview

The GDC team leader will be part of the ServiceNow team, supporting GDC employees and business partners in different IT business lines.

You are the main contact for the ServiceNow IT Operations Professionals in all escalations, being responsible for ensuring a smooth operations management.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Manage the designated team of  IT Ops professionals in their daily work
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, follow SHS People & Leadership Practices
  • Maintain relationship with the Business Partners, seek for upselling opportunities
  • Support the organization in growth and actively participate on defining and executing it’s strategy
  • Operationally manage critical situations and solve escalations to provide seamless delivery
  • Steer feedback-oriented culture
  • Supervise, motive and guide team members and assess performance and take necessary measures if required
  • Communicate management updates among teammembers
Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills

Education:

  • University degree in information technology / computer science or similar

Experience:

  • Ideally previous leadership experience, people management and the ability to lead and motivate others;
  • Overview on ITSM, ServiceNow and application management
  • Excellent personal organization and ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks;
  • Problem-solving attitude;
  • Previous experience acting as a system administrator, developer or IT engineer;
  • Previous experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure);

  • Ability to take over responsibility for leading the team
  • Excellent communication and other soft skills
  • Good problem solving and organizational skills
  • Creative solution finding, structured way of working
  • Very good in customer communication
  • Excellent team player
  • Have a record of being capable of working independently with very little supervision
  • Business fluent in the English language
  • German language is not mandatory, but helpful

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 3000 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
