We are looking for a Test & Commissioning Manager to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan.

Your Challenge

Reporting to the Installation and T&C Domain Leader, the Test and Commissioning Manager will be responsible for defining, planning and executing, the testing and commissioning activities of the different subsystems and the signaling system as a whole to ensure that the technical solutions applied in the projects are adequate from a functional and operational point of view fulfilling the requirements associated with them.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Leading the training and the local T&C teams.
  • Supporting the Project Execution, when they require Engineering support in field activities.
  • Giving maintenance and operation courses to customers with support from the CoCs.
  • The execution of field tests of the system for the overall system integration, and different subsystems.
  • Management and coordination of T&C activities throughout the execution phase, as well as the associated budget.
What you need to bring with you

You should already have consistent experience in Railway Signaling Mainline and Metro as Test & Commissioning Manager together with:

  • Electrical / Electronics Diploma
  • Knowledge of CENELEC standards and Life Cycle V models.
  • Experience in railway signaling projects and in planning T&C activities.
  • Orientation to continuous improvement.
  • Availability to night shifts.
  • Team player ability, strong communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Effective collaboration in networks across businesses and functions
  • Being a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element
  • Eligibility to work in Italy
