At Siemens Digital Industries, you will join a globally distributed team driving a new and growing business with digitalization of the machine tool industry. As a global Head of Sales Machine Tool Digitalization Products, you will be responsible for direct sales of industrial software products and services to industrial customers as well as management of a network of sales and services partners. You will lead regional sales teams in Asia, Europe and America and work collaboratively with other stakeholders across functional and organizational boundaries to grow business, manage customer relationships and drive strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities:
- Building and expanding a customer portfolio for new and recuring business, deepening business relationships through collaboration
- Formulating a short- and long-term sales vision, direction, and strategy to build and motivate a cohesive sales team, expand a sales partnering program, and increase revenue
- Attracting, motivating, and retaining diverse, high performance, enterprise sales and partner management teams
- Managing and forecasting the business funnel to drive revenue while providing transparency to senior management
- Optimizing sales operations and sales processes to improve customer’s buying experience and operational costs
- Fostering collaboration with key customer account managers, vertical sales teams and other related sales organizations at Siemens
- Ensuring effective collaboration with marketing, product management, R&D and the customers to drive technology adoption and proliferation

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related field, 10+ years of related experience
- A track record of success selling complex software solutions in industrial environment, experience in machine tools domain is a plus
- Superior leadership skills including the ability to engage, motivate, develop, and inspire others (people management experience is a must)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results executing an aligned strategy
- Power to handle competing priorities and address problems on a timely manner
- Experience working in an enterprise environment collaborating with different stakeholders across the global organization and different cultures
- Hands on practice in collaboration with external partners is an advantage
- Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills to all organizational levels, including executive leadership (English language skills is a must, German language skills is an advantage)
- Ability to travel
