Join our team as “Quality Assurance / Test Engineer” from our Siemens offices in Budapest, Hungary.

The Test engineer is responsible for end-of-production tests, as well as failure analysis and repair of electronic modules or products, together with providing the resulting data in a structured form for further analysis. Additionally, the Test engineer is optionally involved in test process and test tool improvement projects. You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by
  • Module and product testing of finished HW products, measurement instrument calibration as per defined processes.
  • Handling warranty cases including failure analysis, repair and reporting.
  • Technical support of the outsourced repair activities.
  • Participation in test processes and test tool specification, tool development and production.

What do you need to realize what matters?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, informatics or equivalent
  • Experience in electronic measurements in medium complex measurement set-ups,
  • Experience in documentation of measurement and calibration processes and results,
  • Experience in HW troubleshooting and repair
  • Understanding of metrology principles
  • Understanding of basic QA principles
  • Experience in HW and SW development is a plus
  • Experience in electronic manufacturing is a plus
  • Structured, process oriented
  • Good and pro-active oral and written communication skills in English and Hungarian are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Hungarian language is required
