Position Overview
Seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Revenue Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing and Subscription Management) as well as Sales and Service Cloud. The candidate should be able to design, develop, and implement customized solutions to meet business requirements and provide subject matter expertise on Salesforce Revenue Cloud to internal stakeholders.
This role will serve as a multifaceted technology consultant and innovator in driving digital transformation for Sales and CPQ solutions. Role reports to Sr Director in corporate IT Sales CPQ organization unit and works closely with business stakeholders, end users and other technology professionals in a matrixed environment. In addition to strong technical knowledge, the candidate must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on Salesforce Revenue Cloud to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop custom solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions, including CPQ and Sales Cloud.
- Design and implement integrations with other Salesforce and non-Salesforce systems.
- Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of Salesforce solutions.
- Mentor and train junior members of the team on Salesforce best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Revenue Cloud releases and provide recommendations for new features and functionality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to business project managers, developers, and end-users.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce CPQ services, including coordination of implementation activities.
- Work with project managers and team members to develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce suite of products, including Revenue Cloud and Sales Cloud, and related technologies, including the configuration and customization of Salesforce CPQ.
- Proven experience with designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions.
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and data model.
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile Tools and methodology
- Salesforce CPQ certification is a plus.
- Consulting experience a plus
- Professional certifications (ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus
- Travel up to 30%
