At our locations in Nuremberg, Erlangen and Karlsruhe, we develop the SIMATIC automation system in globally acting agile teams. In the DI FA HMI & Operations business segment, the tasks of our department is the design and implementation of new portfolio elements for flexible production orchestration.
Our industrial
customers are system integrators, machine builders and end customers, mainly in
the food and beverage but also in adjacent industries with the need for Recipe
and Batch Control Systems. We at Siemens need to support them, delivering
products and systems fulfilling the highest requirements in flexibility,
modularity and quality.
In this context we are looking for a dynamic and motivated thought leader
to become the new Product Portfolio Manager for Recipe and Batch Control Systems.
What are your tasks?
- As a member of our cross location, international team you are responsible for the innovation of our Recipe and Batch Control Systems
- You define and setup the business model to market our Recipe and Batch Control System portfolio
- You set your strategic focus in accordance with the portfolio vision of our stakeholders
- Your strength is the customer orientation: you care about customer relations and support our sales channels in a better marketing of our existing portfolio and in the successful market introduction of our upcoming products (e.g. through active participation in fairs, technical publications, conferences, etc.)
- You promote and drive the innovation of the Recipe and Batch Control System within the portfolio and align with other Siemens departments contributing to our success
- You clearly understand business goals, system requirements and trace to realization
- You understand the needs of our customers and feel comfortable to explain and promote the customer values of software products
- You actively contribute with your participation to strategic projects and portfolio alignment across the boundaries of different organizations
Your profile
- The basis of your success is a technical or economics degree or comparable knowledge with good technical understanding, especially in the Software domain
- You have in-depth knowledge in the domains of automation and Software for Industrial Operations (with focus on PLC, HMI and SCADA)
- You have years of professional experience and domain knowledge in the automation of recipe and batch-based productions (e.g. Food and Beverage)
- You have already worked in globally distributed development environments and understand the impact of this development environment on the organization
- You can communicate effectively and with persuasive power, you can build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, management and customers
- Fluent German and English skills are required
