  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters student, upper classman with previous experience preferred

MBA Strategy Intern

The Digital Industries Software (DI SW) Strategy Intern will work with the Vice President of Strategy in deploying company strategy across segments, functions, and countries. Siemens Software works with customers in nine different industries, and across the world. We are seeking a MBA candidate that is motivated by the opportunity to learn from our Strategy VP, will be able to learn quickly to add value across multiple customer industries.

As Siemens Software is in the midst of a transition to SaaS, this presents a unique opportunity to be in the middle of enterprise transformation.

You will have the chance to champion projects that:

  • Assist key leaders in the business in the development and deployment of new company strategy, and supporting operational processes
  • Collaborate with the Director of Market and Competitive Analysis on key competitive and market studies
  • Identify key opportunities for growth or portfolio adjustment
  • Perform market research and financial analysis
  • Directly assist the VP of Strategy in the development of a Company Operating model and supporting processes, including a Mendix application

Organizational Requirements:

  • MBA or MS candidate with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Mendix certification preferred
  • Has completed or currently enrolled in classes related to marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Strong, polished oral and written communications skills
  • Advanced understanding and working experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Background knowledge of SaaS and/or PLM preferred
  • Prior exposure to competitive analysis, market research and financial analysis is preferred


The hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $44.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
