- Partner with senior design engineers to help develop, modify, and implement software programs
- Current research topics include: Artificial Intelligence, cloud-based software, high performance computing, knowledge-based software, advanced CAD, CAM and Simulation, etc. with application to many novel engineering domains including robotics and autonomous systems, additive and hybrid manufacturing, Internet of Things, Digital Twin, Metaverse, etc.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Rapidly learn new software languages and methods; skills in C/C++, Python, JAVA/JavaScript, SQL/noSQL are a plus.
- Cloud or Amazon Web Service (AWS) experience is beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
