At our multiple award-winning equipment manufacturing plant Erlangen (GWE), we produce, bundle and ship the drive technology of the world of today and tomorrow. Our frequency converters and the associated information electronics are the backbone of the automation, machine tool and packaging industries. Your mission with us.
  • You will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical aspects of quality management with approx. 75 employees in our plant
  • As a quality management representative with a high level of customer orientation, you will ensure that product safety and quality management activities comply with internal and external regulations
  • You will drive our quality improvement methodologies (8D, RCA, FMEA) and ensure a sustainable 0 defect strategy with internal and external partners using lean methodologies such as Poka Yoke, Jidoka and Autonomation
  • Using state-of-the-art digitalization methodologies (such as digital twin, machine learning, predictive analytics), you will pursue a 0 defects strategy, support the Agile/Lean transition of the entire organization, and coach team members and leaders on Agile/Lean thinking
  • You will ensure that leaders and employees live an open quality culture where role models are encouraged, and best practices are shared
  • In addition, you will be responsible for clarifying customer and internal deviations regarding manufacturing and/or suppliers
  • With your team of experts, you will ensure our competitiveness by qualifying and successfully introducing innovative manufacturing and component technologies
  • This takes place in a cross-functional environment with interfaces to manufacturing, development, purchasing, logistics and our suppliers. You will work in teams to develop a holistic materials strategy and implement it consistently
  • As "lead factory" in our electronics plant network (DE, UK, CN) you synchronize our processes, guidelines and strategies
  • In this environment you will have the opportunity to work in a competent, international and innovative team in various functional areas (quality management, production, development, etc.) and to implement your own ideas
Your profile for "making the future possible".
  • The foundation of your success is a degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • You have in-depth knowledge and many years of experience in quality management and the associated methods and standards, which you apply effective
  • You have extensive knowledge of electronic and mechanical components including the corresponding manufacturing processes
  • Ideally, you have several years of management experience and have gained international and intercultural experience 
  • Analytical and conceptual skills, communication skills, team-oriented way of thinking and acting, assertiveness distinguish you
  • You have very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
