Incoming Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

Siemens Healthineers is looking for an experienced and dedicated Inwards Quality Assurance / Technician to join our welcoming and vibrant team. This full-time Quality Assurance role is based in Sudbury and comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a skilled and attentive Inwards Quality Assurance / Technician , you will be responsible for completing the inspection, control and disposition of all incoming materials across the Sudbury manufacturing sites, completing all relevant documentation and traceability processes to applicable quality standards. You will also ensure that incoming materials used by production meet all quality requirements.

Sudbury is a global leading manufacturer in the assembly of specialist instrumentation for laboratories and hospitals across the world for Urinalysis, Diabetes, and Blood Gas analytics.

In your first few weeks in this Quality Assurance role, you can expect to:

  • Inspect incoming goods across the Sudbury sites using measurement equipment, specifications and quality control plans (QCPs)
  • Ensure all incoming materials fully conform to requirements before assembly, completing all associated documentation records and following GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
  • Provide input to the process for controlling and disposing of non-conforming materials
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders

To apply for this Quality Tech job, you will need IT skills, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and SAP. You will also require problem-solving skills and the ability to read drawings, associated design specifications and reference standards. In addition, you should have expertise in using various measurement equipment and process for the verification of incoming materials.
