About the role

You will join a team of “technical product managers” in charge of defining the vision and the roadmap of the Amesim platform.

The role of the product manager is to define the future of the offer of Simcenter System Simulation.

Your focus will be on the Simcenter Amesim platform, particularly the features concerning the super components, the study manager, collaboration… There is a lot to be done and you must be a source or proposals to define the future evolutions and the roadmap of the product.

Within the Simcenter portfolio, you analyze and understand the ecosystem of System Simulation, finding opportunities and possible improvements of the offer:

• You help develop a network of customers acting as stakeholders to understand the needs of the market and define the priorities to build the product roadmap
• You have a good understanding of the applications of system simulation allowing you to communicate efficiently with the scrum team the customer needs.
• You collaborate efficiently with the other teams to gather internal needs
• You work as a “product owner” within an agile team following the scrum method (definition of “epics” and “user stories” corresponding to product increments, backlog management within Jira, participation to agile “ceremonies” …)

In this role customer interactions are central: upstream to understand their needs, but also for promoting the Simcenter products and their new features, for which you support: evaluations and demonstrations with our customers, promotion of the Simcenter strategy, and communication of the progress of the product roadmap.

Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you if you have an engineering degree, and an experience of at least 5 years in technical product management and its processes, in a software environment.

• You should know system simulation with Simcenter Amesim or equivalent (Simulink, Dymola, GT, Modelica…)
• You come with industry knowledge (automotive, aeronautic, industrial machinery…)
• The knowledge of a scripting language is a plus (Python, MATLAB…)
• Your demonstrated experience in creating product vision and strategy, including understanding the market, target personas, and problems they face helps you create high value, and show initiative and accountability within a dynamic work environment.
• Thanks to your excellent communication skills in English, you build positive relationships with your colleagues in an international context. Your demonstration ability allows you to highlight the value of our solutions with our customers by becoming their privileged partner
