Mobility Management, Turnkey Projects & Electrification, Mainline Transport, Urban Transport and Customer Services. They have the know-how to make road traffic flow more smoothly and quickly, make trains more environmentally friendly and efficient, make train schedules and freight shipments more reliable. We work with our customers to develop optimal solutions to help overcome their challenges.

We would like to get onboard a  Telecommunication engineer (or similar) to work inside of the railway communication infrastructure area, to develop and deploy communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects. 

Main tasks to be performed by the COMMS engineer:
o Analysis of project requirements.
o Development of system technical specifications.
o Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties’ systems.
o Technical interface with customers and other contractors.
o Realization of testing and commissioning works onsite.
o Network troubleshooting for wired and wireless systems both.
o Technical support to systems once into operation after commissioning.

The candidate should prove technical skills and experience in the following activities and knowledge fields:
o Roll-out of communication networks (Gigabit Ethernet, SDH, MPLS, etc.).
o Roll-out of radiocommunication systems (specially GSM-R, TETRA and IEEE 802.11-based).
o Valuable to possess some network vendor certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Hirschmann HiRS/HiBS/HiWP, etc.).
o Onsite testing and commissioning. 
o Network Troubleshooting (wireshark)

It is important also to have:
o Good availability for travelling.
o Weekend and night shifts work sporadic availability.
o Good English and spanish skills, both spoken and written.
o Good command for the project technical documentation.
o Experience of 2 years at least.
