What are my responsibilities?
- Research the new manufacturing and assembling processes, machines, tools to finish the new product development.
- Design new production line.
- Design and apply new process, new fixture, new tool, new material, and new machine.
- Adjust and modify existing production lines
- Improve the production effectiveness, product quality improving, cost reduction.
- Solve technology problem and quality problem
- Optimize operating flow and material flow
- Break bottle neck process
- Train and instruct operators
- Establish manufacturing engineering standard and maintain them.
- Collect and document the database of manufacturing, including machine, calibration ‘specification and parameters. And update them
- Interface with other function departments to finish work
- Provide the technology spec to purchasing dept to finish the purchasing of machines and materials
- Involve the work regarding to measuring and testing
- Assist the facility and maintenance departments to keep the machines running well
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / engineering or above is must
- +5 years’ experience in manufacturing
- Familiar with PFMEA, APQP and SPC tools
- Experience with manufacturing software tools (CAD/CAM, Pro-E)
- Pressure instrument Technology experience is preferred
- Good English communication and writing skill
