We are looking for a Field Service Engineer, committed to Measurement Intelligence Industry for Gas Analysis Solutions, to be hired with a permanent contract within the Process Automation area.

Within the Digital Industry Organization the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for driving Customer satisfaction through excellent delivery of installation, configuration and repair on site assigned tasks on our Analyser Systems and Gas Chromatograph systems. In particular he will manage customer plants covered by maintenance contracts ensuring the best installed gas analysis systems performances and reliability.

The engineer who takes this position will travel to a customer's site and troubleshoot, test, maintain, and/or commission solutions using Siemens AP and GA products and industry technology portfolio to satisfy industrial customer requirements and solve problems.

• Perform installation, configuration, repairs and training on assigned Analytical and Gas Chromatograph systems
• Ensure complete execution of all preventive maintenance on the assigned assets
• Passion for the field and aim to learn and tackle new challenges
• Willingness to travel in Italy and sometimes abroad
• Work constantly with local Customer Service team to delight Customers
• Report all activities in order to satisfy Complaint Handling processes
• Interact with Regional Support Center to ensure accurate resolution of the issues
• Align with Health and safety, Environment and HR regulations

What will you handle in the short term?

• Develop customer relationships
• Interface directly to customers to answer technical questions and resolve issues
• Be completely independent in troubleshooting & repair of Gas Analysis Systems

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

• Three or more years of directly related equipment experience
• Technical Diploma
• Willingness to travel in national level, and international, if needed
• Passion to never-stop growing
• Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
• Proficiency in English and Italian, both writing and speaking
• Eligibility to work in Italy
